Described by The Telegraph as ‘the empress of etiquette’, Jo has worked in etiquette for over 20 years. She joined The English Manner in 2019 from Debrett’s, where she was a senior tutor and managing editor of their acclaimed etiquette books. Jo has extensive experience of working with a host of different clients, from private individuals, families and children, to luxury brands, corporates and businesses.
From one-to-one intensive training and group workshops to company-wide presentations and keynote talks, some of Jo’s highlights include leading front-of-house training programmes for Gordon Ramsay Restaurants and Harrods, as well as travelling overseas for bespoke projects across Europe and in the USA.
As a writer and editor, Jo has more than fifteen acclaimed books on etiquette to her name, including the recent The Modern Gentleman’s Handbook with gentlemen’s outfitters Charles Tyrwhitt. She regularly provides expert comment for national newspapers and magazines, and is a frequent contributor on the television and radio.
As well as etiquette, Jo also specialises weddings. She has trained some of the UK’s top wedding venues in service and advised numerous high-profile couples on their weddings.
