Together with our partners Protocolbureau we delivered a five-day course in Diplomatic Ethics and Protocol and trained participants in topics such as: how to correctly advise on sensitive matters, write protocol briefings for ministers, design seating arrangements, determine greeting procedures, and advise on protocol for speeches.

In partnership with Competence HR, over six weeks we delivered an intensive training in international protocol and etiquette for the Institute of Capability Development, Diwan of the Royal Court in Oman.

January 2020

Ahead of a trip to China and Hong Kong, the hospital asked The English Manner to deliver a training in cross-cultural awareness to the delegates who were scheduled to travel.  Topics included: greetings, patois, taboos, gifting and communication styles.

A 5 Star Hotel in London
December 2019

The English Manner was asked to provide feedback and service modifications for a leading London hotel who were relaunching their afternoon tea service.  After these were given and adopted we provided several two-hour training sessions for staff.

We provided in-depth training in global dining etiquette and customs around the world, focussing on Middle Eastern, African and Asian countries.  The training included how to deal with caterers, complex dietary requirements and service styles.
